Frequently Asked Question
Both modules are used to assess tasks involving awkward postures.
In both, the procedure is similar: selecting the most frequent and/or a priori most painful postures for evaluation.
Both offer a level of risk and a level of action associated with each of the postures analysed.
The main difference is that, while Postures [RULA] is specific to assess ergonomic risks related to the use of the upper limbs, Postures [REBA] provides information on the risk to the whole body.
Furthermore, Postures [REBA] considers additional aspects such as the grip factor, the adoption of postures in favour of gravity and the impact of large and rapid postural changes or unstable base, issues that Postures [RULA] does not take into consideration.
