Frequently Asked Question
M32 - Variable MMH – In this module, is the task duration the same as the total working time?
Last Updated a year ago
No, they are not the same.
The task duration can have three values (short, medium and long), which depend on the “working period” (nonstop or uninterrupted working time) and on the “recovery period” (time elapsed between two working periods, during which the worker rests or performs light tasks).
The total working time is the total minutes spent handling loads that are defined in the "Loads" tab of this module and, therefore, these data determine the pace of work. Thus, the total frequency (in liftings/minute) is calculated as the ratio between the total number of liftings and the total working time (it is not calculated from the duration of the task).
