Frequently Asked Question
M37 - EN 1005-5 [OCRA] Multitask– What is the difference between the scope of application of this module and that of the Repetitive Tasks module?
Last Updated a year ago
Both modules are used to assess tasks with defined work cycles that involve repetitive movements of the upper limbs.
Although this two modules are very similar, some relevant differences can be pointed out:
The Repetitive Tasks module calculates the risk of musculoskeletal injury in the neck-shoulder area and the hand-wrist area separately, whereas the EN 1005-5 [OCRA] module calculates an overall risk to the upper limbs.
The EN 1005-5 [OCRA] module provides a more detailed description of the task organization, which makes it possible to consider recovery periods in the calculation of risk.
